4th February, 2016: Winduna Enterprises has secured a co-production deal with Discovery Kids Latin America for the new animated children’s series, Winnie & Wilbur
Discovery Kids has acquired the exclusive broadcast, digital, and licensing and merchandising rights in Latin America for the Winnie & Wilbur brand. A 52 x 11-minute, 2D animated series based on the best-selling Winnie the Witch books by Valerie Thomas and Korky Paul is currently in pre-production and is expected to debut on Discovery Kids Latin America in Spring 2017.
Winnie is, wild, unpredictable and totally lovable witch! Wilbur the cat is her long suffering best friend who gets caught up in Winnie’s wonderfully wrong spells and their hair-raising consequences. The amazing and hilarious adventures of Winnie & Wilbur, which are targeted to an audience of 4-7 year-olds, are designed to present the authentic Winnie experience, delighting fans both old and new.
